- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
- Entry is open to BankSA and St.George Bank Limited personal customers only who reside in Australia. Entry is not open to business banking customers.
- Employees of St.George Group, participating retailers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter the contest.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
- The Promotion commences at 12.00am on 3rd March 2008 and ends at 11.59pm on 27th June 2008 ("Promotion Period").
- Eligible persons will be automatically entered into the promotion when they use BPAY through their St.George transaction account during the Promotional Period. Entrants are only permitted to submit one entry per BPAY transaction into the draw.
- The first eligible entry drawn will receive $15,000 deposited into their St.George transaction account.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of any aspect of a Prize, due to circumstances outside its control. In any such event, an alternative Prize of similar theme and value will be provided.
- Unsuccessful entries from the draw will be discarded after the relevant draw and will not be eligible for any subsequent draw, other than for the second chance draw, if necessary.
- The draw will take place at 12.00pm (AEST) on 7 October 2008 at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. The winner will be notified in writing immediately and their names will be published in The Australian newspaper on 4 November 2008. The judges' decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter may conduct such further draws as are necessary on 2 December 2008 at the same time & place as the original draw in order to distribute any unclaimed prize. Second chance draw winner will be notified in writing immediately and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 31 December 2008.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
- A winner's name and photograph may be used by the Promoter for future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
