Peace of mind overseas Complimentary overseas travel insurance cover1
Protect you and your family for trips up to 3 months when you pay for your return tickets prior to leaving Australia using your Gold Card. This includes covers as set out in the policy:
  • Unlimited medical expenses cover
  • Up to $10,000 per person for loss or damage to personal items as set out in the policy – up to $300 for loss or damaged travel documents
  • Unlimited cover for unexpected cancellation of travel arrangement caused by an event as set out in the policy. Limits apply for travel agent’s cancellation fees.
  • Travel delay cover up to $375 per person for meal and accommodation cost after a 6 hour delay
  • Up to $2,250 rental vehicle loss or damage excess cover as set out in the policy
  • Up to $2.5 million for personal legal liability cover.

Up to $450,000 insurance in the event of accidental death or certain injury while travelling on a plane, train, bus or ferry, when prior to taking the trip, you have purchased the tickets using your Gold Card as set out in the policy.

International Visa® / MasterCard Transaction
  • 3% of the amount of each foreign currency transaction (including, without limitation, ATM transactions) by use of a Visa Card or MasterCard issued on your credit card account.
Cash Advance Fee
  • 2% of each cash amount (cash advance amount) withdrawn or advanced on, and all transfers (including, without limitation, amount with transfers by Internet Banking or Phone Banking), from your credit card account or minimum of $2.50.
Late Payment Fee $9.00 applied for each late or missed payment.
Card Replacement Fees
  • $15.00 per card within Australia
  • $52.50 per card outside of Australia
  • $45.00 per Emergency/Urgent Replacement Card.
Overlimit Fee $9.00 applied once per statement period if a transaction is made for an amount exceeding the available credit at the date the transaction is debited to your credit card account.
Automatic Payment Dishonour Fee $9.00 applied once per statement period for each payment dishonoured made under the automatic payment plan.
Statement Copy Fee
  • $4.50 for requests via Phone Banking or Internet Banking
  • $7.50 for all other requests.
