There are easy steps you can take to protect yourself and help prevent being scammed or becoming a target of fraud around tax time. Whether it’s being aware of people pretending to be the ATO (Australian Tax Office), or using scam tactics knowing that you might be expecting a tax return.

Turning on Push Notifications in the BankSA Mobile App or Internet Banking means you’ll be notified about every transaction from your account. So if someone tries to use your account without authorisation, you’ll know immediately and be able to let us know too.

There are multiple ways you can use the latest security sign-in methods to keep your devices safe. Biometric technology allows you to sign into the BankSA App using facial and fingerprint recognition, or you can still use a 4- digit PIN.
