Existing Visa Debit Card FAQ
I have an existing Debit card and a BankSA Visa Debit card or BankSA Business Visa Debit card linked to the same account and received a closure notification for my existing Debit card. What happens next?
If you already have a BankSA Visa Debit card or BankSA Business Visa Debit card linked to your account, you won’t receive another card. You can continue using your existing BankSA Visa Debit card or BankSA Business Visa Debit card without interruption.
Your older existing Debit card will be automatically closed as part of the transition, and we’ll notify you once that’s complete. Your account remains active, and card access continues through your current BankSA Visa Debit card or BankSA Business Visa Debit card.
If you need an additional card, you can request one at no extra cost via BankSA Internet Banking or the BankSA App. If you don’t already have Internet Banking you can register.
