Fees, rates and Rewards program changes effective 30 September 2026.
On 30 September 2026, we’re making updates to the fees, rates and minimum repayment amount on BankSA Amplify Credit Cards, and changes to the Rewards points program. Full details of these changes and impacted credit cards are set out below.

Interest Free Period changes
Your interest free period on purchases will reduce from up to 55 days to up to 45 days. Your payment due date will also move 10 days earlier. To keep your interest free days, pay your Closing Balance or Monthly Payment Balance (as applicable) in full by the statement due date. Your Autopay will update automatically. If you pay another way, you’ll need to update your payment date.
Amplify Rewards program fee changes
Rewards program fees are charged annually, and for current cardholders, the new fee amount will apply on your next card fee date.

Changes to Rewards points for Amplify Qantas credit cards
Points earn rate changes
The points you earn on eligible purchases2 will change. ‘Dining’ (restaurants, cafes, fast food, bars, hotels and entertainment venues) will also move from the ‘Everyday Spend’ category to ‘All other purchases’ category, which means you will earn fewer points on eligible dining transactions. Current points earn rates are available here. These changes won’t affect your existing points balance.

The way you use your Rewards points
The Amplify Rewards Points you earn on eligible purchases2 will not change, apart from ‘dining’ which will move from the ‘Everyday Spend’ category to ‘All other purchases’ category. The changes won’t affect your existing points balance.
The number of points you need to redeem for some options is changing. This means some items will require more Amplify Points to redeem and some items will no longer be available. For example, the points required for a $100 eGift Card will increase from around 20,000 points to around 29,412 points. Popular options like charitable donations, Priceless Planet, and transfers to Everyday Rewards will not change.

Changes to your Amplify Qantas Signature lounge invitations
Amplify Qantas Signature customers currently receive two Qantas Club Complimentary Lounge invitations each year when they complete a one-time registration of their card and make a purchase over $1 within a 12-month period. From 30 September 2026, customers will need to make an eligible Qantas purchase on their Amplify Qantas Signature card each year within a 12-month period, as well as completing the one-time registration before making the eligible purchase.
Eligible Qantas purchases are subject to conditions and exclusions. Eligible items include selected Qantas products and services that must be purchased directly from Qantas and paid with your Amplify Qantas Signature credit card.
