Temporarily lock your card for up to 15 days to gain added security while you look for it. If it turns up, you can simply unlock it, otherwise report it lost or stolen to cancel your card.
Logon to the BankSA App and tap ‘services’ at the bottom of your screen
Under My Cards, look for 'Lock card temporarily'.
Choose the card you wish to lock by tapping on the lock icon. Once your card is locked, no one can use your card. The card will also be locked in any digital wallets it is currently added to.
Temporarily lock your card to reduce the risk of unauthorised transactions.
Simply unlock the card in the App by tapping on the lock icon. Your card will be automatically unlocked in any digital wallets it is currently added to.
Cancel your card by reporting it lost or stolen in the BankSA App to immediately stop further transactions, and order a replacement card. Your replacement card details will be automatically updated in any digital wallets this card has been added to and you can continue to make transactions without the need activate your replacement card/s.
Download the BankSA App onto your iPhone through the App Store or your AndroidTM device through Google PlayTM.
Use your camera on your smart phone and hover over the relevant QR code or click the relevant link below the QR code.
Scanning the QR code or clicking the App Store link will direct you externally from the BankSA website.
